Legal Notice

Your Customer Account

You do not need to register your email address prior to placing an order. You are able to browse all the products within the site with no restrictions. Once you have decided on your purchase and followed the order process through, an online account will be automatically created for you.
The account will consist of your email address as a username and your password. Please do not disclose your password to anyone. If you forget your password, please use the password forgotten link to retrieve it. We are only able to accept one account per email address. You will be able to view your order history once you are logged in.

Placing an Order

Goods are not sold on a trial basis. We are only able to process orders online. We are not able to take orders over the telephone. Once you place an order, you will receive a confirmation email showing the full details of your order. In the event that the item you have purchased is discontinued or out of stock, we will notify you within 1 working day (normally sooner) and you will be given the option to keep the item on back order or cancel. You will not be charged until the goods are shipped when you will receive another email to advise you of the same.

Payment Methods and Security

We accept the following credit and debit cards for payment. Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo and JCB. We do not accept American Express. We want you to enjoy a safe shopping experience at London Eyewear and your transaction will take place through our dedicated 128-bit SSL server which ensures your data is encrypted. Only the last 6 digits of your card number will be printed on any correspondence for your security.

Our transaction processing system will verify data from the cardholders registered name and address against the data that is inputted by yourself. If random details of the cardholders registered address are not matched, the transaction will be automatically rejected.

Our transaction processing system will NEVER ask you for the PIN number that you would use for over the counter purchases with your chip and pin card.

Product Availability & Specifications

There may be times when a model or a specific style of a model is out of stock with London Eyewear, our suppliers, or even discontinued without notice from the manufacturer. If you order a product that is within this category we will automatically contact you within 1 working day if there is a delay and your transaction will be voided.

London Eyewear supplies many of the fashion worlds leading designer and purpose specific eyewear. Product specification or availability can change at short notice.

If you wish to enquire on availability before you purchase, please email info@london-eyewear.co.uk with “Stock Enquiry” as the subject heading stating the Brand, Model Number and Style Code. We are not able to give stock status answers over the telephone.

Product Warranties

London Eyewear always aims to provide quality goods, however on rare occasions goods may turn out to be faulty or defective. In the unlikely event that a fault develops with your purchase within 30 days, please email us at info@london-eyewear.co.uk quoting your order number with a full description of the problem.

We would like to make you aware that we will not always be able to replace your eyepiece if the item is out of stock. In this case, you will offered a full refund. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Returns

You consumer purchase through London Eyewear is covered by the Distance Selling Regulations. Business purchases are NOT covered by the Distance Selling Regulations. This means that you are able to return the product to us within 7 days from the date you receive your order without giving us a reason. In the unlikely event that you not satisfied with your purchase, please note the following:

1. The goods MUST be returned unused, in all the original packaging, and with all the authenticity tags and manufacturer seals still attached.
2. All returns are inspected on arrival and refunds will NOT be issued if the goods are not in this condition.
3. The goods must be in a re-saleable condition and returned to us at your expense.
4. Please ensure that goods are returned to us via signed for delivery and a certificate of posting is obtained. We cannot accept liability for any products that are damaged in transit so please ensure that the packaging is appropriate.
5. Refunds will only be made in the same format as the original purchase less the delivery charges where applicable within 30 days.
If you wish to return a product to us please email info@london-eyewear.co.uk within seven days with your order number and the letters “RMA” in the subject header.

We will grant you an RMA authorisation number which MUST be used to return the product. Returns without an RMA number will be rejected or returned to you.

You will be refunded the full cost of the item only. Shipping charges will not be refunded.


Privacy Policy

London Eyewear is committed to protecting your privacy. The data that we collect will be used solely to process your order and correspond with you to ensure we provide you with quality service. We do not use cookies or send out newsletters / marketing information. Your information will be stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988 and will not be used for any marketing or advertising purpose.

Shipping

Our delivery charge within the United Kingdom is £4.75. Orders are shipped royal mail special delivery and are delivered from Monday to Friday between 08.00hrs and 18.30hrs and will always require a signature. Currently, orders are only able to be dispatched to the registered cardholders address.

We cannot deliver to PO BOX addresses or certain apartment buildings where the courier cannot enter the building due to modern security systems.

In the event that a courier is unable to deliver, a card stating delivery was attempted will be placed through your letterbox. The courier will automatically attempt delivery the following day. If the courier is still unable to deliver, the item will be taken back to your nearest depot and then redirected back to London Eyewear. Please contact the courier to arrange re-delivery. In the event that the goods are not able to be delivered and are returned to us, the delivery charge will need to be paid again.

In the event that you do not receive your goods / notification of attempted delivery after you have received notification from us that they have been shipped please allow at least 24 hours to pass before contacting us.

Additional shipping charges apply to goods shipped within the EU and outside the EU. These charges will be shown at the final checkout page before you complete your purchase. Our prices shown are inclusive of VAT. If we are delivering your order to a country where VAT is not applicable, this will be calculated automatically at the final checkout. Please note that you will be liable for any local taxes that may apply.
