Pupillary Distance
PD |
 |
The Pupillary Distance (PD) is the measurement (mm) between the centre of each pupil.
The Monocular Pupillary Distance is the measurement (mm) between the centre of your pupil to a virtual vertical symmetrical line on your face. The sum of the Monocular PD is equal to the Puillary Distance (PD)
A typical Pupillary Distance (PD) is between 58m and 68mm and this number is essential to ensure your lenses havce the correct optical centres on simple prescriptions. |
